  1. Construction of the new cycle route from Bedlington to Cramlington is set to start early 2010 with completion due around June 2013. The route will start at Meadowdale School then take in "The Black Path", through into Gallagher Park then head south to Humford Woods where there will be a high level bridge linking up to East cramlington and the cycle network there. I'll post a map of the route shortly It will also link to the Coast and Castle route to the North

  8. http://www.morpeth.co.uk/ If anybody here has an interest in Morpeth then you can use the same login details that you use here over there. Please keep town bashing to a minimum until they have members to defend themselves.
  9. You can kind of see the end result now but it's not finished. I'll try grab some pics tomorrow for you.
  10. http://www.bbc.co.uk...surveys/smiles/ I got 12 out of 20 right.
  11. And has nobody got anything to whinge about?
  12. Could somebody please help me out with some boundary issues? North Bedlington covers Choppington Guidepost and Stakeford but how is East and West divided?
  13. Don't think it justifies a news article but the lamps are lit
  14. I quite enjoy Bombay nights but for some reason a few of my friends don't agree with me.Think it's more of a personal preference thing than anything wrong with the food.
  15. Yeah that blogging thing will never catch on either.
  16. http://twitter.com/bedlingtoncouk of course!
  17. Did we have one then? I know there was one in Morpeth. Did that replace all the individual ones?

  19. Well I've only heard of 4 out of the 12. I say Jimmy White. Still time to add a poll btw.
  20. OK I've put something up to get going, it's just west and east bedlington at the moment but we'll see how it develops. When I get a chance and the quirks are ironed out I'll more widely publicise it. It's pretty wide open and flexible at the moment but we can start to focus in on things as they crop up. One thing I will add is an ability to assign issues to people if there is any participation from official representatives. Get moaning... http://www.bedlington.co.uk/community/tracker/
  21. Yeah similar to the upyouralley thing but like you say more focussed. Best to display by area or by issue type? I was thinking it might be best to split by parish council area but still have no idea on the current structure of local government. Is it now west, east and central? or just east and west? There'll need to be a category for general county issues as well maybe? I think it's important to get that right from the outset but everything else would just build "organically" (sick of that word)

  23. I've noticed a few threads recently relating to "neighbourhood issues" and thought a dedicated facility here for people to raise them, discuss with others, follow the progress to resolution etc. might be a good idea. It would give local officials something to check/comment on and prioritise issues of concern. Would you use such a thing?
