Plans for a BMX track at Gallagher Park have been APPROVED!

Latest news is the plans have been rejected. The application was to reduce the height of one of the chimney stacks and lower the windows to ground floor level.

Construction of the new cycle route from Bedlington to Cramlington is set to start early 2010 with completion due around June 2013. The route will start at Meadowdale School then take in "The Black Path", through into Gallagher Park then head south to Humford Woods where there will be a high level bridge linking up to East cramlington and the cycle network there. I'll post a map of the route shortly It will also link to the Coast and Castle route to the North

Could somebody please help me out with some boundary issues? North Bedlington covers Choppington Guidepost and Stakeford but how is East and West divided?

OK I've put something up to get going, it's just west and east bedlington at the moment but we'll see how it develops. When I get a chance and the quirks are ironed out I'll more widely publicise it. It's pretty wide open and flexible at the moment but we can start to focus in on things as they crop up.
