  1. I tell you one thing, it's nowt to do with iguanas.
  2. The salt is on my porridge. Sorry.
  3. Keith, I thought the same, then I went for a walk around it and it's actually very impressive.
  4. I just summoned the ghost using my latent psychic powers, she's still there if you want to see her, Keith, and she's called Avril.
  5. All fought dragons (or iguanas)?
  6. Malcolm, the Kennel Club info on the breed states that it is one of the oldest terriers - http://www.the-kennel-club.org.uk/services/public/breed/display.aspx?id=3061
  7. Since when did God and the Three Musketeers fall into the same 'area'?
  8. See, the dogs are taking over the world, Keith; never mind aliens, zombies, Niburu and the much-maligned apocalypse, it's teh blue and orange dogs we have to worry about. They may look cute and fluffy - oh yes - but that's a cunning disguise. Underneath they are poised to rum amok, to take control, to wreak havoc with our daily lives, and to insti fear into even the most ardent of cyber-terrorists. I am about to convene a meeting of the Table 25 cohorts to discuss the problem.
  9. Someone has just kindly pointed out to me that 'hamburgers' is an anagram of 'Shergar Bum'.......
  10. I just got mine out of the fridge......and they're off
  11. Right, who let Kieth Lockey out?
  12. That's the advantage of a Wetherspoons establishment.....no music!
  13. There is nothing wrong with Radiohead; one of the most innovative bands of the last couple of decades. of course, you're an old-timer, still tripping out to Hawkwind, I bet!
  14. Indeed it does, Canny Lass, but I might add that the vast majority of youngsters I know are great. This lot - and others there last night - were a lovely bunch.
  15. Interesting subject. A few years ago Radiohead opted to release one of their albums as a digital download. The price was, as they put it, what the buyer was willing to pay. They were surprised at how much peopel paid when they could have opted for a few pennies.
  16. A night out with me! The prize is 75% of the pot, with the other 25% rolling over for 4 weeks; participants get a raffle ticket when they pay, and the raffle is drawn every four weeks for the 'bonus'. Credit must be given, however, to the bunch of youngsters who won last night; they very generously gave their winnings back and asked for them to be aded to next weeks prize as an incentive to others to join in. We hear many tales of 'the yoof of today' etc but these late teens/early 20's lot saw the spirit of the game - to have a laugh an a bit of banter - and I think they deserve a mention for it.
  17. That's an excellent picture. What's the car then......
  18. For the record, went surprisingly well last night given the weather, a good time was had by all!
  19. You're all bloody useless! With the weather as it is I don't expect many to turn up tonight in all honesty. I'll be able to get on with me beer drinking then.
  20. Shameless plug time - for anyone looking for Monday evening entertainment I am hosting a quiz at the Red Lion each Monday, starting tonight, at 8pm. Come along, have your tea and have a laugh with me.
  21. Keith, I have to say your anti-dog stance is startling. You are decidedly dog-ist. The local dogs will be visiting your home very soon. Expect some nice presents.
  22. Both, when you mention it, though I was referring to the website, which is a source of much amusement on a daily basis; long may it continue.
  23. An under-sung great man, tremendous engineer.
  24. Ulgham? Only Kidding.
