  1. Because sizsells, What is one of the most valid and open sores the Bedlington Community have had to put up with for years......... The abject lack of any leisure/sporting facilities. We have paid the running costs for other centers of these sorts for decades yet never had any of our own. One recent attempt to get leisure/sporting/youth facilities down in that area highlighted the likely costs of a two way road down to the football pitch. It came out to around 3/4's of a million quid and was one reason the project died. (It was an extra cost over and above the capital cost of the project build costs.) So if there is a decent road going in there and right down to the pitches it could open up a myriad of possibilities for enterprising community groups! I do find it hard to believe at a time of active budget cut backs NCC would agree to an expenditure on this scale, but I will check it out.
  2. is this PC World?????????
  3. More instructional video.........
  4. There is a planning application to put in a road to Gallagher Park? Really, I kind of hope this is true because the lack of a decent road into that area has stifled any sort of development down there for various groups trying to access it to try and build community facilities.
  5. Course feels like this sometimes!!!!!!!!
  6. Thanks for that Mr D, much appreciated. As for expressing an opinion, of that I have no doubt!
  7. Merry Xmas to you and yours Vic.
  8. Keith, Yes I get that feeling but I look at the page views and someone is reading this stuff. When I stopped commenting on the Greece and the EU thread I was surprised by the amount of people who asked me why because this was about the only way they got to hear about this stuff. I will just keep hitting the keyboard and leave it up to God's grace if any of it makes sense.
  9. The carry trade pidgins in Eastern Europe look likely to come home to roost in 2011. Hungarian defaults a distinct possibility effecting mainly Austrian banks.........

  14. For my tuppence worth……….. I think it's probably essential for a place like Bedders to have a vibrant independent business sector. Without that we lose any sort of sensible commercial image as a market town. Relying on the likes of Tesco is, in my opinion, a mistake, however it is a sign of the times and lack of any forethought and planning. Despite what I have said on another thread I think Manor Walks is the epitome of a well laid out small town shopping centre and one we should have had. There is one proviso, with the increase in population, and let's talk about nationally 60 odd to 70 million souls, is there any other way to provide for the masses on the scale needed? Still be interested to learn what ASDA are going to do with Nettos here, anyone?????
  15. That would be the optimum....... Red or Trout could also be a winner!
  16. I met a girl in the park the other evening. There was an instant spark between us and she immediately dropped to her knees and laid on the grass at my feet. As we lay making love, I thought "These taser guns are well worth the money.”

[siz e="5"]SINGLE BLACK FEMALE seeks male companionship, ethnicity unimportant. I'm a very good girl who LOVES to play. I love long walks in the woods, riding in your pickup truck, hunting, camping and fishing trips, cozy winter nights lying by the fire. Candlelight dinners will have me eating out of your hand. I'll be at the front door when you get home from work, wearing only what nature gave me... Call 01272-6420 and ask for Annie, I'll be waiting.....
