Wondering if anyone can help. There is an abandoned stand alone garage in Lambton Court (Bower Grange). My partner has just got a motorbike and we are looking to rent the garage out (as we don't have a shed big enough and it's currently sitting in my kitchen!)

 

We've asked around the entire street and cul de sac and no one knows who it belongs to, only that it hasn't been used for a very long time. One person thought it had been abandoned by someone who left the estate more than six years ago

 

We've contacted the council and land registry and they have no clue who it belongs to

 

Is there anyone else we can ask about this?

Would help Keith if the County Council owned any shops in Bedlington, only thing they now own in Bedlington is some land and schools.

A sad moment was announced today (24th August) that Richard Attenborough has Died after a long illness at the age of 90. Richard Attenborough was a great Actor, director and campaigner, he was one of the best and he will be sadly missed, he will never be replaced, Rest In Peace Richard Attenborough.

They have no respect for the fallen soldiers of this county, completely disgusting.

I have never heard anything, but hope it has been taken over and not bought by a developer as a housing site.

Wrong Keith, from what I see on a weekly basis (and I will ask Adam to back me up on this!) most politicians greatest manoeuvres are sleight of hand, hypocrisy, corruption and outright duplicity!

Bedlington High School is also known as the Station High School, as we have two high schools in Bedlington.

Seems somebody has gotten it wrong, The Chronicle say Church Street (I guess they meant to say Church Lane), The News post Leader says Attlee Park?

I take it as this new school will be built behind the old one then once the new one is completed the old one will be pulled down?

I don't know what it is with kids and concrete, they seem to love putting their fingers in the stuff, Bet they don't know what can happen to your hands with the stuff.

But I bet their parents would be first at the people who put down the concrete if the kids hands/fingers ended up like this.

Ah the memories come flooding back.

Don't you think it's strange that both Blair and Brown at one time or another have claimed to be her true heir?  How do you rationalise that one?

I can't remember at any time Brown saying he was the true heir to Thatcher!

He always said he was more a traditional labour politician.

Also if he was the true heir to Thatcher why did he have the east coast mainline nationalised? (Also it is the only real profit making rail franchise running)

I have said it once and will say it a thousand times more I had not love of Tony Blair, he was a wolf in sheep's clothes.

On the point of UKIP do you think they would do anything the public wanted once they got into power?

All Political parties are the same and have there own agendas:

Tories make as much money for their friends and party members as they can

Labour make the unions happy.

Lib Dems have an agenda of screwing up the county as much as they can with stupid ideas like joining the Euro.

BNP want to kick everyone who is no white and speaks English out the county.

Greens want to make the UK the worlds biggest windfarm (as long as it is not on their doorstep)

UKIP don't even want to know what there personal agenda is!

The only real way to get change is to have independent local people fighting for the people of the area, as they have no political preference and no party whip to make them vote the way of the party.

More Tax Payers money to go on Ashington Football Club!

Why does the tax payer have to fund that football club?

But also why do we have to fund investment into Blyth, Ashington, Cramlington and Morpeth while Bedlington gets nothing at all.

What investment have we had since 2009?

I did not see anything else he was in bar the great escape Malcolm.
