I think that £30M is the £20M sports/leisure facitlity and Arch are also going to build more speculative factory units etc, possibly to the tune of £10M
Surely someone somewhere is embarassed about this one sided investment?

Hang on Adam..............
£30m town centre regeneration...........no £74M!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also...
The shop restorations money earmarked from Wansbeck.
The market place renewal Money from Wansbeck.
Actually most of it came from Heritage Lottery funding through the Townscape Heritage Initiatives.

We're sorry but this site is not accessible from the UK as it is part of our international service and is not funded by the licence fee. It is run commercially by BBC Worldwide, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the BBC, the profits made from it go back to BBC programme-makers to help fund great new BBC programmes. You can find out more about BBC Worldwide and its digital activities atwww.bbcworldwide.com.

UK GDP:
£6 IN EVERY 10 FROM BANKING SERVICES,
£1 IN EVERY TEN FROM MANUFACTURING,
£1IN EVERY 100 FROM FARMING.
(And about the same as the farming figure from prostitution and drug dealers! WTF!)
..and the national debt just goes upwards every day!
Looks like a reet well balanced economy to me laddie!
She's gonna blow captain she's gonna blow!

Let us examine how this fits with contributions to/support for the Conservative Party. It got £3.6m from the construction industry, as a result of which more and more cultivable land is being built upon.
Thanks JW!

Sorry Eggy, with my mind a bit more concentrated….
SHLAA………. Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment.
Its not enforceable and it may never be used but its there.
Looking at the local Bedlington stuff I found 9 serious errors, quite a few absolutely stupid errors like designating an alleyway off Front Street as building land? Some have already been developed others quite unsuitable.

Might have more to do with potential new houseing estates Eggy. (AKA.. SLAH document)

LABOUR, CONSERVATIVES&LIBERALS,

"BUT"
In the last years we have provided direct cash aid toHaiti- 1.4 B,Hamas - 351 M,Pakistan- 2 B,Libya1.45 B,Egypt- 397 M,Mexico- 622 M,Russia- 380 M,Jordan- 463 M,Kenya- 816 M,Sudan- 870 M,Nigeria- 456 M,Uganda- 451 M,Congo- 359 M,Ethiopia- 981 M,South Africa- 566 M,Senegal- 698 M,Mozambique- 404 M,Zambia- 331 M,Kazakhstan- 304 M,Iraq- 1.08 B,Tanzania- 554 M,with literally Billionsand they stillhate us!!!
Our retired seniorsliving on a 'fixed income'
do they get any breaks while our government
and religious organisations pour Hundreds of Billions
and Tons of Food
to Foreign Countries!
We have hundreds of adoptable children whoare shoved asideto make room forthe adoption offoreign orphans.
AUSTRALIA, UK& UScountries where we havehomeless without shelter, children going to bed hungry, elderly going without needed medication and mentally ill without treatment... etc.
YET. . .
We still allow illegal "Deprived People"& other free loaders on our shores.
While we are lining up with food, clothes, bedding, doctors and medical supplies.
Imagine if
the "GOVERNMENT"gave 'US' the same support they give to other countries.
with OUR collected Tax-moneys.
Sad isn't it? -

On his 70th birthday, a man was given a gift certificate from his wife.
The certificate was for consultation with an Indian medicine man living on a nearby reservation who was rumoured to have a simple cure for erectile dysfunction!
The husband went to the reservation and saw the medicine man.
The old Indian gave him a potion and with a grip on his shoulder warned,
'This is a powerful medicine. You take only a teaspoonful, and then say '1-2-3.'
When you do, you will become more manly than you have ever been in your life, and you can perform for as long as you want."
The man thanked the old Indian and as he walked away, he turned and asked, "How do I stop the medicine from working?""Your partner must say '1-2-3-4,' he responded, "but when she does, the medicine will not work again until the next full moon."
He was very eager to see if it worked so he went home, showered, shaved, took a spoonful of the medicine, and then invited his wife to join him in the bedroom (as you do).
When she came in, he took off his clothes and said, "1-2-3!"
Immediately, he was the manliest of men. His wife was excited and began throwing off her clothes, and then she asked,
"What was the 1-2-3 for?"
And that, boys and girls, is why we should never end our sentences with a preposition, because we could end up with a dangling participle.

I resent that Symptoms, right up until someone hands me a stuffed brown envelope...........
having said that with my luck it won't be cash and the envelope would have started out white!

NCC got £1.25M (?) off central government to fix all the pot holes in the county. Thats why there has been frenetic action.

So would I Steve!
If the services we get are being cut and cut yet the money we pay in goes up and up every year where is the sound economic reasoning?
It has to be disappearing into 'non productive costs' such as salaries!
