We have something here called a no-vote. You go to the poling station as usual and Place a special 'blank' vote in the ballot-box. Better then staying at home and doing nothing in my opinion. At least you're letting them know you are dissatisfied.
  5. I Think you're right there Eileen. Bagies were White and quite small - more like a giant sized radish. Had a distinct 'peppery' taste as well. LOOK NO UNDERLINING!!!!!!!!
  6. Welcome to the site Jen. Excuse the underlining. It's totally and utterly beyond my Control.
  7. Any good pub grub in Bedlington these Days? ( I see Three weeks holiday hasn't done anything for the underlining/capital letter problem)!
  8. My gog has never been so ticipated!! Don't really know what to make of it but I Think it could grow on me. I have to say though, that I Think that the Front Street is looking very nice. Got a good old dose of home sickness while looking at these photos.
  9. That's me Adam. Always aim to please!
  10. I'm agog with anticipation!!
  11. Now that's not such a daft idea! It would get my vote!
  12. Better late than never! Hope it was a goodun. Can you not get this problem with fonts, colours, deletions and capital letters sorted out?
  13. What's the simple idea that's a brilliant advert for Bedlington? What? What? What?
  14. That's one helluva duster she's got there Keith!
  15. Be very, very careful with that Tramadol Wonky!! I was prescribed it when I broke a few ribs in March. It did my head in as well, but even worse it gave me acute respiratory failure after only 6 days and I ended up in intensive care. Lord knows what it's doing to you in combination with Diazepam.
  16. Maybe it'sPete who's being unveiled, Eileen!
  17. Must be big if it takes 2 hours to unveil it.
  18. Really? Either my eyesight, my memory , or maybe both are failing. Must be old age catching up on me.
  19. Welcome Venessa. I never even knew there was a children's home in Bedlington! It would be Lovely to hear more about it. I'm sure you can find out a lot here.
  20. Are you being serious? Is this "THE Porcy" in Bedlington Station you are talking about? An Italian Restaurant?
  21. I prefer to Think he's off to some far flung foreign land Eileen. I can just see him now; grass skirt, bare belly (BARE I said not ´beer), waving palm trees, White sands ......
  22. George Best I recognize. Who's the other guy?
  23. It's amazing what we learned at Westridge Malcolm.
  24. Doubt it Malcolm. Polystichum Munitum is a native of North America. My guess would be Dryopteris filix-mas.
