  1. just heard a great song. The lyrics are "pop pop pop pop, pop pop pop pop." Aparently it's bubble rap.
  2. Just come across this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eu-xFvLaE68
  3. COME ON DOWN ADAM - HERE IS YOUR PRIZE!!!! In keeping with the Beatles connection I have procured for you a once in a lifetime super-duper-prize. You are going to relive two iconic Beatles photo-shoots. The first one is the Beatles Abbey Road photo and the second one is John and Yoko. See following images. The above photos are the originals. Now below are the two you will be featuring in. The second photo is the girl who will replace Yoko. Now you are to meet her in Room 101 at the Thistle Hotel at Newcastle. Ask for Big Bella at reception. If you don't know where it is ask other keith, he goes there all the time with his ladyboy friends. Have a good one; I'll let you keep your socks on if it's too cold.
  4. I'm going to give you it, Adam, well done. They are all names mentioned in Beatles songs. Hey Jude...........Jude Law Penny Lane.......Penny Junor Lady Madonna..Madonna Lucy in the sky..Lucy Liu Eleanor Rigby...Eleanor Parker. Well spotted Adam.

  10. Asda is a local supermarket, Tomtom, which sells clothes designed by GEORGE.
  11. Malcolm, who is in charge of bus shelters? (Highways Dept' or is it Arriva?) Because we suddenly have loads of seats and hanging basket 'posts' being put up down our way. The bus shelters have no windows in but 'whoever' is supplying us with gardening and seats!!! (Ludicrous)
  12. Cheers Tony. It's a small world, as they say. I never knew he had the shirt factory.
  13. When I used to drink in the Northumberland Arms there was a guy who used to get in and I could swear his name was Bob Bulmer. He used to sup with a mate of his called Billy Spirit!! He knew the manager and manageress then - Syd and June Johnson. I might have the name wrong.
  14. Did he used to be a policeman, Tony? The name rings a bell.
  15. When I was an apprentice painter at Bedlington Urban District Council, which was changing to Wansbeck Council, the depot was behind the shops on Front Street West. But there was a factory at the bottom of the depot. Can anyone remember it and recall what it was?
  16. Is he the patron saint of Asda clothes?

  19. Sorry Foxy, way before my time. I've only ever known the Station Club the way it is, and even then, I've only ever been in it once, in the seventies.
  20. Is it part of the Welwyn?
  21. Come on Foxy, put us out of our misery. I'm walking around bedlington looking at rooftops now.
  22. I knew a jovial clairvoyant, always smiling, then somebody punched her. The attacker got done for striking a happy medium.
  23. I've already said that, Malcolm, twice!!
  24. WOW how did you get that? You are truly gifted. Thou must have second sight!
