  4. Would that not be Jeff Oliver. I was sure that Keith is older than me so he would have been 2 years above that pic ( maybe wrong) Sandra was in my class, the year above that one. There was a few station kids at the Whitley, Nat Watson as you say and Philip Lawson come to mind straight away. I can still feel the sting on my ass from Matty Hall walloping it with that blackboard ruler of his. I whent to seek Sandra (his daughter) that night and he asked if I was ok, he even seemed to think he over did it. It had a crack in it and it nipped the skin. I left the Whitley in July '67 so I would have been away to Marton when that was taken.
  5. I remember it got pretty well poluted up there in the 70's. Turned out Brentford Nylons were being pretty careless with what they were discharging into the drains and dye was running into the river. Many a good time was spent swimming in the dam

  14. Dunno who they are, is the first one Jaqueline Smith from Charlies Angels?
  15. Rio Ferdinand is to head up a Federation of Black Players Union, if that is not racist, tell me what is. If John Terry was to set up a White only Players Union he would be jailed, simple. The racism rules in this country favour the non whites and the very fact that Rio Ferdinand can get away with something like this proves it. When (or how often) is a complaint of racism upheld in favour of a white indigenous British Citizen? I often wonder if John Terry had made a complaint of racism against a black player it would even get to court. As it happens, he wins his case then the F.A. decide to hold their own "CLOWN COURT" because THEY believe he is guilty. (they had their minds made up before he whent ). Racist behaviour works in all directions, whites can be, and ARE victims too. Ferdinands Union is ressurecting Apartheid divisions
  16. Sherlock Holmes............... They have all played Dr. Watson.
  17. Huh !!! Favouritism again !!!!!
  18. Well that narrows it down to a few thousand John. I dont know if you heard or not, there was damage done to cars in the station over the weekend again. Cars around your area as well as on the Palace estate, the station itself , School road and Whitley tce. It was more general damage, broken wipers, cracked windscreen and scratches rather than slashed tyres. I had my tyres done in the new year, (among others). One thing I have been told is , when reporting to the police, ask for a CRIME number rather than an INCIDENT number. It never seems to be top of the agenda to catch these scroats. It reminds me of the story of a man ringing the police to report someone breaking into his shed, the person taking the call says that no-one is available just now, stay in the house and lock your doors, an officer will be there as soon as one is available. He puts the phone down, waits a moment before dialling 999. "I've just shot the the b*****d breaking into my shed". Within a few minutes, police were round is house like flies round a s**t heap. Plenty of officers available when the criminal is hurt !. Oh aye, my slashed tyres, I reported it to the police in early January and it is now late October and I am still waiting for an officer to come !!. Crime figures are falling because among other things, they are ignoring reports of crime.
