@John Fox (foxy) - lets hope Andy's question with McAfee gets you to a solution.🙂 Like Andy my next question (even though I have never used McAfee) would have been on the lines of - 'What 'Settings', if any, are set within the security software' and that would have been followed by - 'Try changing the settings'😏 Can't offer any other help😇

John - when attempting to connect does it return a message to the laptop? Can't see me solving your problem but knowing what the response from your attempted connection - Did you install security software or do you just use the laptops built in Firewall?

@Jammy - but was the Grey Lady 👤 a physio? I never spent any time there I just remember Paddy (Bob Patterson from Tomlea Avenue) telling me that when he was a temporary resident getting physio they used to scale the perimeter wall on a Friday evening and catch the bus to the Red Lion for a couple of pints.🙂

@HeatherW - shot in the dark. You mentioned a William Johnson, Landlord on The Anvil Inn in your comment. @Rigger started this topic - Anvil Inn Guide Post - in History Hollow as he was researching his family history and he mentions his relative 'William Johnstone'. @Malcolm - The Grey Lady does get a couple of mentions within this group but I can't remember ever seeing any comment that referenced any documents on that lady. The name is mentioned, in a topic by @johndawsonjune1955 - The Ploughman And The Flowers - by @John White (back in 2013) but no stories or references added. In 2012 Keith Lockey started a topic - Hartford Hall History - and @mercuryg mentions The Grey lady but again no references to any documents of stories There is a couple of photos showing 'The Physio Lady' :-

@HeatherW - welcome to the group. I can't recall any member mentioning the story you are researching. Guidepost is just over 2 miles from Bedlington but it is not an area that is normally discussed on this group but if there is any info that is known, or can be traced, by a member then I am sure they will share it with you. Looking down your list of names the only one that stands out to me is Dr John Trotter. Not that I know of his involvement in the case just that the name Dr Trotter is well known to Bedlington folk as there is a monument to him in Bedlington.
