Table 25 - The Script As It Is Developed
Verily I say unto thee all inhabitees of mystical Table 25, thoust will need more than a flagon of finest ale for the coming year, for if you read below we have all been deceived by the Nibiru fiasco. Twas but a taster, a foot in the tepid water of life to see how we would react - for I say unto thee most verily indeed that the real thing is winging its way unto us next year -2013 and is called ISON. We must girdle our loins, straighten are jock straps, fillet our cod pieces and stand accounted for - one for all and all for one. (Or if you are Mexican - Juan for all and all for Juan.) It is time to gather our resources; cast our spells, incant our incantations, cast the runes, for this new threat must be met head on. I am already preparing myself for this coming titanic battle, I have bought four pairs of brown underpants from Asda. But fear not, we will be triumphant so let us sally forth with our rousing battle cry on our lips - you know the one "Izzy wizzy let's get bizzy." http://www.independent.co.uk/news/science/brighter-than-a-full-moon-the-biggest-star-of-2013-could-be-ison--the-comet-of-the-century-8431443.html

Viaduct Over River Blyth
That actually looks like the site of the 'Black Bridge'. If you look above the bridge mid-top you will see a building that looks like the Bank Top at the top of the Furnace Bank. PS - check out this site - bridgesonthetyne.co.uk.

Wallaw Cinema - Bedlington
I've seen photos on this site!!!! That is how I got unto you's lot. But I cannot remember which topic it was under. But there was one with the old Domino facade and some of the acts that appeared. Andy Fairweatherlow was on one. Frustrating!!! CANCEL ALL THE ABOVE - FOUND IT. Club Domino on this site - History Hollow - page 2.

Wallaw Cinema - Bedlington
Whooooooooooooo! Come on then, what was the name of the usherette's pet budgie and who was the reel guy and what size shoes did he wear, how many seats were there and what colour was the carpet, and whilst your at it when did they stop accepting bottles as entry fees, yah boo hiss, smarty-pants-know-it-all.

Wallaw Cinema - Bedlington
I remember being at the Woody school when Nobles took it over and turned it into the Domino - so that would have been 1970-71ish.

Wallaw Cinema - Bedlington
It's probably been asked and answered before elsewhere but when did the Wallaw cinema close in Bedlington?

Invasion Of The... (Newcastle Invaded!)
My wheelie bin blew over last night - there was rubbish everywhere. Wouldn't you think they could put latches on the lids or something.

Good Jokes: Not For The Faint-Hearted (Adult content)
Lady Penelope from Thunderbirds has just text me. She wants to get back together. I said I would but with no strings attached. We make a nice couple, don't we? (Who said two dummies!!!)

The Angel Has Come And Bedlington Station Gets Grass
Me and my bro remember going to the cinema at the Station with ma then going to Wales' fish shop afterwards. There was a tiny room at the back (up some stairs?) and a couple of tables. Now that would be a nice dream - the building of a cinema instead of a park - then everybody could benefit. Dream on. PHOTOS COURTESY OF FOXY I BELIEVE.

Doomsday
Maybe the end is just postponed. Isn't it a tad coincidental that this should appear at this time. Maybe the Nibiru 'false scare' was just preparing us for the real thing, you know, let's see how people react before we tell them the real thing is coming - later than we said. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/science/brighter-than-a-full-moon-the-biggest-star-of-2013-could-be-the-comet-of-the-century-8431443.html

The Angel Has Come And Bedlington Station Gets Grass
Sorry, I don't want to be a cynic, but why do we want a landscaped public park on Matty Robinsons when there is already a beautiful woodland park a mile down the road - the Free Woods.

I've just been down the Free Woods and I saw a tree doing Kung Fu. Then I realised it was Spruce Lee.- Astronomy
With regards to the late Sir Patrick, I watched the Sky at Night Special on Iplayer the other night and what heartened me was the amount of people who came forward and talked about his genorosity. Heather Couper the astronomer was one and said he would answer letters personally. I read 80 Not Out and found him very funny, but he was British and eccentric and outspoken on many issues - but people loved him for it. I miss him and the show already.- Astronomy

Me and the girlfriend's split up. She said I never listened to a word she said!!!! I just turned and looked at her and said...'chips with mine please'. It wasn't just that though. She said she wanted an animal-skin coat for Christmas. She should be grateful! Have you seen the price of donkey jackets. But the last straw was yesterday. I got sick of her biting her nails in public. I mean someone nearly tripped over her shoes in the Red Lion.- Astronomy

I took these photos at about 2pm today. (Sunday 23 Dec) This 'tube' cloud went straight across the sky from east-west / west-east. It was massive and resembled a pipeline. I had to take it from my bedroom window to get the best shot and those vertical shiimering lights are window reflection - net curtains actually. But the cloud was weird.- Quiz Connections

Merry Christmas everyone.- Is It Me?
Is this the real world? I mean it goes from tragedy to farcical. The NRA cannot be serious about this! http://www.nytimes.com/2012/12/22/us/nra-calls-for-armed-guards-at-schools.html?_r=0- Doomsday
I'm just trying to consider what I would do if given the option of having G. Brown as PM or choosing the end of the world. It's a hard one. Then again, look at what we got. For the first time in my life I can honestly say I am TOTALLY disillusioned with our political choices. I seriously cannot see the point in voting anymore, it just seems futile, especially with what we've got to choose from. But this is not the correct place for this topic and I politely refuse to get drawn into politics on this or any other site. Now when is the next doomsday event, have I got time to polish off a bottle of dry white?- Youtube At Its Best
That piano stairway is brilliant, Malcolm. What a great way to get people involved and use the stairs instead of the escalator.- Doomsday
Just like the bus I went for today - it didn't turn up. It's a sorry state of affairs when scientists can't get the end of the world right. Who can you trust now? I mean look at all the folks who have been let down. People will have to buy their kids presents now. They can't use Doomsday as an excuse for not buying them anything this Christmas. You'll have to pay your bills as well and decorate the hall for the missus. I blame this Tory government for this. If labour had been in the world would have ended exactly at the time stipulated 11.11am. But one thing did happen - a miracle. I flagged down a scrap man in our street today and said I had a TV for him - and he said he didn't want it!!! Hallelujah, Hallelujah. - Good Jokes: Not For The Faint-Hearted (Adult content)
